Hangover Cure!

I drank a little to much last night so I thought I'd share the cure to this dehydration and vitamin depletion everyone calls a hangover.

here's what you'll need:
  • 1000 milligrams vitamin C
  • one B complex vitamin
  • 600 milligrames N-acetyl-cysteine or "NAC"
  • 400 milligrams Ibuprofen
  • one over-ripe banana
  • 5-6 frozen strawberries
  • 1/4 cup wild blueberries
  • 1/4 cup frozen or fresh pineapple
  • about 1 1/2 cups cold vanilla soy milk
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • a dash of salt
  • a dash of cayenne
  • about 100 ounces clear, filtered water
I like to take some acidophilus before the smoothie and drink a bottle of Gatorade some time after the smoothy, then move on to the water.

  1. You forgot one thing, though. I doubt that when you have a hangover you can muster the strength to combine all those ingredients, lol.

  6. I just usually drink a glass of water or just any non-alcoholic liquid every 3 beers or so - seems to be fine.

  7. If you can 1) get someone else to make it (or make it in advance?), b) actually keep it down, then this could work.

  10. Haha, very intricate solution. I guess I'm lucky that I drink plenty of water and seem to be mostly OK. I have no trouble sleeping until anything goes away either!
